OLIVIA WALKER (Jacki Von Preysing) is a desperate millennial at the end of her rope. She’s been put on a temporary leave until she stops qualifying for benefits, she’s recently single, her home has been broken into, and she’s drowning in debt. Rent’s an ever-present threat.
Then she meets MARI NAVARRO (Nicolette Sweeney), a happy-go-lucky, fiery pickpocket who lives in a van and shirks every societal expectation she can.
Traumatized by the break-in and sick of being alone in her house, Olivia invites Mari back as a sort of defacto bodyguard — which kickstarts an offbeat friendship that begins to pull Olivia deeper and deeper into a life of crime.
Their heartfelt and introspective talks about the state of millennials in America are balanced by thrilling scenes of pickpocketing, breaking-and- entering, grocery theft, and an interrogation room framework that makes viewers wonder: will these girls team up to execute an ambitious criminal scheme… Or is Olivia being conned?
Jason Bishop's World Class magic and illusions have been seen on The Today Show, CW's Masters of Illusion and CBS Sunday Morning as well as two Broadway shows. Bishop brings his cutting-edge magic show to the Pocono Mountains at Pocono Cinema & Cultural Center for a limited run. Make your vacation or night out more magical by coming to see one of today's best Magicians live!
